I haven't heard of actual tickets to give out. Things may have changed in a month, but on the form letter you were went there are four lines that should have had names listed for attending PIR.
Those names on the list are the ones allowed to go right in, the others have to wait in another line and then it is first come first serve as to the extras. With only seven divisions at PIR there should be no issue getting in.
My sons PIR was 5 divisions, I was the one on the wait list (at my request) and got there early and was first in line...lol. They cleared the hall of the listed ones that were there already, and then let us right in. I waited about fifteen minutes before going in.
Again, I have not heard of an actual ticket, maybe one of the others has, if so ignore this...LOL
I got a letter today from my SR, and I'm a little confused. They get 4 guest for PIR, but we had 5 people going. And the debate of which one will wait at visitor center.
Todays letter he said he just found out that they will get tickets to give to who he wants at graduation. Does this mean he will have more than 4 tickets?
Or he picks who the 4 are that will go in at that time? Sunday via phone, He asked me to ask his Dad/StepMom if one of them would give up their seat to allow his older brother to go in, who would have been waiting at visitors center.
Anyone know? He also said he has been hearing they may only be graduating with 7 Divisiions, instead of 15 Divisions, so more than 4 of us will get to go in. Anyone else hear anything?
Just a reminder that RTC no longer allows us to post BattleStations dates on here or on FB. They want you to practice OPSEC--pretend like BattleStations is "ship movement" when in the fleet...which can't be discussed until after the fact. So that is why they have to be private messaged.
Ladies, please friend request/message me BattleStations dates for your divisions if you have them. I'm keeping a schedule. Thanks! There is also a Battlestations discussion above...be sure to read it. They will be starting BattleStations very soon!
juliebelle28 - Congrats on her graduation too! and thanks for sharing the beautiful picture...
juliebelle28 - Thanks - That was adorable!!
Good Morning Everyone! Hope everyone has a great day and gets a letter from their SR's!
Good morning everyone!
@la(ship9div 172 PIR 6/8) Well, they call it a continental breakfast. It was basically a few muffins and danishs (they were good, I guess) and coffee and juice. Just powdered creamer (that won't do for me). So we went and got some bagels, muffins and coffee!
Nice to see you here helping out flgirltwo :-) Happy to see you had a great time!!
