Hope many of you are on your way to RTC right now.  Won't be long before that big door opens and those wonderful SAILORS walk in!  ENJOY!

What a wonderful Friday y'all are going to have. Can't wait to hear stories about PIR and your weekend with your SAILORS!!!

Camera- Yes...ditto on the practice shots, mine came out dark. (indoors only...no outside photography at RTC...you'll get your camera confiscated and the photos deleted...you'll get the camera back. Plus, your Sailor could get in trouble.

Also, the flooring of the bleachers is solid but for these 10-12 inch long slots underneath the seating. They are just wide enough for todays technology to fall through. It's like a Black Hole...you won't get it back. I took a larger purse (all bags are subject to search...mine didn't get searched) and I used caribiners to clip the handles of my camera, cell phone, and keys.

you are very welcome kathyrc :-) I wish the post here had a "like" button :-)

I hope everyone made it to their hotels safely and are now sleeping and ready for PIR bright and early tomorrow morning.

Here is something to take care of when you get back home.... For anyone on this site who has a LinkedIn account. I saw on the news today that their member info was hacked and passwords and other info compromised. They said if you have a LinkedIn account you should change your password immediately. Just thought I would share because I know many of you are on that site.

lala - Thanks so much and for all your support!!!  very excited for tomorrow!!  found my son on facebook pics div 175 a close up of his face - awesome!!!

Have a wonderful time at PIR and please travel safely. Remember when you get in the PIR hall to take some practice shots with your camera and try different settings until you get the best results from your camera. Your pictures will turn out much better and you will be glad you did. If possible take some pics of the performing divisions and come back to this site and post them for the next 2 PIR groups to see. Some of their recruits will be performing with yours on Friday :-)

If driving to the base try and avoid the far right lane when getting in line. That lane ends and you will have to merge left one lane anyway :-)

Get lots and lots of hugs and tell your Sailors that we all here on Navy for Moms appreciate their service <3

One more thing, don't forget anything, check your list......twice lol
