Gc0972 - Thank you for letting us know...and for starting this PIR group.  I am so sorry that this happened...I pray for the best for her.

LaLa- My ribbons came today, absolutely adorable.  Thanks!

Gc tell her to keep her head up and try again. My daughter was suppose to ship last June and got injured. She was trited and had to re-enlist and get a medical waiver. It took from June to Oct to heal then in November she re-enlisted and shipped in April. I kept telling her everything happens for a reason.

She ended up getting a different contract that she is much more interested in so it did work out better.

Best wishes for her and we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

gc0972 - Oh my...I am soooo sorry! I hope she's okay and it's nothing serious? That must have been such a shock for you...I heard of someone else that was sent home and it was weeks before he could get home and not sure if he's even home yet! Hard to understand all this...Hope things work out the best for all of you!

Oh Gc0972, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope she is able to get things worked out and go back to become a Sailor. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

thanks gc, I am so glad you love your ribbons :-)

Gc:  So very very sorry.  So much of the military seems to be about "numbers" right now.  Prayers for her in a difficult time...

My daughter was sent home on Thursday :( She is supposed to try and get a waiver to go back in. I have been told she should have just been evaluated and sent back to her DIV instead of being put in SEPS and sent home. She said there was over 200 recruits sent home.

I received my PIR 'military graduation ribbons' today in the mail. I ordered them from LaLa's at www.uniquememorymakers.com and they are very nicely done. I love them and I am SO READY to wear them at PIR.
