Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please remember if you can make it to the meet and greet at the ramda on thursday nite to please go to the calendar click on the date of 10/13 and post that you will be there with how many will be attending. thanks and can hardly wait to meet everyone.

They are a great way to show support and pride f or your Sailor, they make a great keepsake and they make it easy to recognize other N4M members. Comment by diannep on September 22, 2011 at 3:13pm: Oh, and if they are in a separate car, you need to give them a copy of your gate pass. If on the shuttles, no problem. Gate pass only needed for cars.

Comment by diannep on September 22, 2011 at 3:12pm: They must have ID, like you. Best if they arrive with your group. Sometimes they let them in with you all; sometimes they may have to wait until all others are in (that doesn't usually happen though). For sure, bring them.
