My SR will have A-school at GL. Does anyone know where I can find more info on A-school in regards to what "things" (belongings) he will need there? Before he left he packed a box or two for A school but I am not sure what he needs or will be allowed to have...i.e civilian clothes, electronics, personal items etc... Also do they need bedding or towels etc... or is that all military issue? We would like to bring the items he needs when we see him for PIR (we are driving), but not sure what to do!

By the way if you read the pages info and want to add something like a video or link please do so in the comment section. I want to keep them as current as possible! Thanks!

For those of you who are already regulars on here you will be getting a group message about the discussion pages.  I noticed we hae grown and I would like to see everyone join the discussion for their SR's ship/DIV.  If you have already done this ignore the message.  LOL it was the only way I could think of contacting everyone that has joined the PIR discussion but not a ship/DIV discussion.  Thank all you are great.

Welcome aboard everyone that is new.  I see we are still growing.  Please read the OPSEC regulations and remember your SR's safety as well as your own.  If you have questions this is the place to find answers.  Only stupid question is the one not asked.  Hope to meet you all at the Ramada on 10/13 for the meet and greet.

Ouch my SR hates shots so I am sure it wasn't a happy moment for him.  He has not said ne thing in his letter about it though, probably bc he knows I would laugh at him if he complained about it hurting.  Not bc I think it is funny but bc he can be over dramatic about shots.  LOL

msu4ensics:  The peanut butter shot is a very strong antibiotic shot, from what we were told, and it is called that because it is very thick, large needle, and they have to roll on their hip for a while afterwards to disperse it....UGH!  Yes, they get pretty sore from it.

Not sure what Forum would be best to post this question.. from what I have read there are different types of 900 divisions, triple threat or staff, I can't remember the other. Do we know what the 948 is? I don't think most of us have gotten a letter from the div yet.
