Thanks for the welcome, my SR left on the 23rd. After I wrote my comment I took it off in case anyone got at her for her birthday, made me nervous so I will have to watch what I say.I will send her a card but something that will not draw attention to her. Anxiously waiting for the box and form letter.

greenoak, welcome!!  my son spent his 21st Birthday in boot camp. He wanted to keep it a secret. I wonder why, LoL   I didn't send him a card. I wonder what kind of Birthday wishes they get in boot?

Ha, Ha Sandy...the RDC played the "mom"card!

fireteamleader, that was my son's division. There were 5 or so who would not follow orders. We were not afraid to make it known how unhappy we were with the situation. My poor son kept telling me not to say anything on NfMs. Oh well, what ever we said worked because after a good talking too our division started working together.

Welcome to all new moms that I have not welcomed yet LOL Glad to see we are gradually growing in numbers.  If you know of any one that has an SR with this PIR that has not joined please direct them to our discussion.  We are all here to help each other through the long days with out letters and all the emotions that go with our SR leaving and going to BC.  If you have any questions please ask there are veteran moms here to help as well.  I also need a couple moms to voluteer for admins.  It is not hard at all trust me I was not going to start the PIR group but look at me now LOL

That is too funny Sandy!

RDC's need to laugh too!

I think I have read on here that once a DIV was not pulling it together and the moms were talking about it and were upset with their div. I believe the RDC told the Div, "Look, now you've made the moms mad!"

Too funny!

I remember when almost everyone in my son's division got their wisdom teeth out. It was around week 3 of boot camp. A lot of moms were upset and posting their opinions about it on NavForMoms. I know some of the moms remarks were hilarious. The RDCs read them to SR. The RDC thought we were so funny.
