Hello Everyone, I'm fireteamleaderwife. Our son PIR's on 05/26/2011. He is currently going through a rerate during "A" school. God willing he will be moving on to Builder School in the Seabee community. He enlisted in March and went to BC that same month!

The FTLW is because my husband is in the AF, reserves, and we have three sons...enough for a fireteam!

Betsy and LaLa such nice big Navy families!

Thanks so much diannep! This is all so helpful and I appreciate those of you who have gone through this before, helping those of us who are new at this.I will stay on this one until I get"the letter."

If you ladies want to start reading info, I have posted an info in the Discussion Forum up above. One is called "Ship/Div How it Works" . Oh, it's showing up there...number four...talks how Div form.

DF only shows four forums at a time so you have to click "view all".

past45:  Hard to tell because sometimes they are finishing filling the late divisions in one PIR group as they are starting to fill the early divisions in the next PIR group.  It is possible that you could be in the 10/7 group, but stay on here for now and wait for that form letter.  You will get lots of info here!

Ok, changed your screen name....took me a minute to figure that out, proud2baNavymMm! Good choice though...we recommend that you don't use your SR's name on the board...I'm sure fireteam told you!  Last names are forbidden, first names not advised.

Welcome to the new members!  Michele:  You will learn alot about the computer by being on this site!  I have learned tons!  HA!

Not sure my son's PIR is this date but he arrived at Great lakes on Aug.15. We got the box but no letter and when I called recruiter on Thurs. He said he didn't have address yet. We were wondering if this would be the date. Do all that go on the dates around the 15th PIR on the same day barring injury, etc? Does it make a difference in what they are going into after boot camp,ie.nuke, pre-buds, etc?
