OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Hello, Brandonsmom, I'm Betsy (another veteran mom) and I will also be helping out on here.   Welcome to the crazy life of a Navy mom.  There will be loads of information coming your way in the next few weeks, but don't worry, as you sort through it all, we will be here to help.  We have all been through the strange and sometimes confusing time of having a loved one in boot camp.

One of my favorite sailor's is my youngest son, who is also the baby of my 5 children.  He graduated BC in Dec. 2010 and is currently in A school for CTT in Pensacola, FL.  My family is also lucky enough to have another sailor among us. My daughter is engaged to a sailor, who is an ET on a nuke sub in Pearl Harbor, HI.  She is also living in HI for the next year until his time is up with the Navy.
