TeacherMom my son told me last night because of the holiday when they first got there, today is week 3 day 1.

I know my son's wishing he hadn't had his wisdom teeth out several summers ago. He would have loved to have the chance to listen to music. He said that was one of the things he missed the most. That, and a big juicy steak!

Spring...Now I'm hoping my SR has his out.  He has said he misses his music the most.  Of course, with his luck, they'd only have country music.  He loves every type of music EXCEPT country!

When is their Marlinspike?  I can't figure out what week they are on.  I thought it was 4 but somebody said it was 3.

When she called on Thursday she said she had been to the dentist and they scheduled it for today. I just hopes she bounces back fast for Marlinspike this week. Oh if she gets to listen to music she will be sooooooo happy.

They don't normally get to the wisdom teeth during P-days. From what I have seen it is usually the in the first 3 weeks of training that they take them out. My Sailor said it was wonderful because they actually get to listen to music while getting it done. That was the first time she had heard "real" music in almost 4 weeks, other than choir practice lol.

My SR had his taken out at the beginning of BC-- he just had one taken out because it had a cavity but he still has all the rest! Hoping those who got theres taken out this week are feeling good and won't miss too much while SIQ!

Comment by Teach on March 13, 2012 at 5:22pm

Spring-I didn't realize they would still be doing that.  I assumed they did it during P-days and since mine didn't mention it they didn't take his out.  Now I'm wondering if they did or will.  He still had all 4 and they were starting to bother him some a couple of weeks before he left.  Not bad enough to worry about but still I'll bet they take them out.
