lol mamabeans, so funny, I did the same thing from our cat.
The letter to my Sailor from our cat was hilarious. Our cat is huge and needs to loose some weight and when our Sailor was home she was in charge of feeding him. She kept the bowl full all the time. I talked to the vet and had "special" food and was measuring out what he could have twice a day. The cat "Shadow" was not happy with his rations and kept going to my Sailors bedroom door begging for food. So the letter told her that since she left we have been starving him to death and we don't understand his needs and she needs to get back here or at least talk some sense into us. He went on to say that he knew she was all grown up and needed to spread her wings like "Charlie" (our bird) but he couldn't understand why she left him behind with people who don't understand his needs. And, he knows how much she loves shoes but did she really need to go to camp just to get some boots? They do sell those at the mall right? lmao it was the funniest letter and she loved it hahaha
Oh ... Mamabeans, that was soooo funny, I know that will make him chukle and smile! We have 4 dogs so I know my SR is missing them! Hope he shares the letter with mine, he'd get a real kick out of that, all I've sent are pictures.
Oh, mambeans...that is hilarious that the dogs write to your son! Classic....I'm so sure that will brighten his day...let us know his response! LOL
luckily my SR's gf is a delightful young lady and made sure to let me know as soon as they hung up. i am sure she will call when she gets back to school and relay his whole letter - well, except any mushy stuff LOL she is coming with us for PIR
@stephensgirl - you sounds like such a lovely young lady and i am looking forward to meeting you :-) hopefully all our "boys" will be able to find a balance between calling/writing moms and gf both :-)
Almost forgot...I added a MARLINSPIKE discussion up top. Your SR's probably just did this.
mamabeans - Too funny! I hope he enjoys it!!!
Mamabeans....LOL...that really cracked me up and I know your son will laugh and maybe have a tear in his eye, but he'll love it!
Stephen's Girl - I agree you seem like a sweetheart of a girl that any mom would love to have in her son's life. Whatever impression we give, it's only because we want our sons to be loved and be happy!
Proudmom - thanks for your comments, and I'm so amazed too! I was so nervous about my SR being able to adapt. Everyone tells you they will be fine and grow into themselves, but still we worry :)
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
HA HA HA... had to share... I wrote a letter from the dogs today. I wrote it with my left hand, bad grammar and spelled a lot incorrect. It was sooo much fun to do!!!
