Thanks ryanfoodmom, I am so glad you like everything :-) I bet his step-sisters will be very happy to have them.

seabreeze, I don't know if they all get a second one but I have heard of several who posted they got a second shot so I am sure it is normal :-)

I got my ribbons and candle today. Thank you Lala, they are wonderful. I ordered extras for my step daughters just so they can put them somewhere to remember their brother.

Yeah, now I just need to know when BS is for Div 119 so I know when to light the candle. If anyone knows what day, please email it to me.

Momof4, I'm pretty sure they have to stay there (@ airport) I know once my son swore in that was it.... They brought him to our airport (we meet him) but they had to check right in and that was it they could not leave. So don't see why this would be any different... Sorry I know every min counts....

Anyone know the answer??

Once our SR's are at the airport, can they leave and return prior to their trip or do they have to stay until they leave. If their flight allows a little time to get away, it would be great to do something other than hang at the airport.

mamabeans....... My SR ordered them for me I was just wondering if I would be getting them from her of if they were being shipped home. You will have to take a picture and share with us :)

Spring-sounds good to me...paper that cubicle. I printed out the picture from the FB page on a full sheet of paper, even though all I can see is one eye and the top of his head! Who cares, it's him!

I don't know if you all have seen it, but You Tube has a great clip done by CNN on Battle Stations 21. I added it to Calls for Recruits website. It looks like a pretty demanding test.......

proudmom... shin spints are SUPER common. And easy to "deal with". My son got them too. Ice, stretching and ibuprofen and power through it!

Comment by mamabeans on April 2, 2012 at 5:55pm

I ordered them.

The deadline was last Friday. I posted here about it. Sorry if you missed it. You can always order them, just not in time for PIR.
