Okay , I'm freaking out. Something happened but I don't have all of the details yet. My SR has been placed in healing for 6 WEEKS before he can finish his 2 1/2 weeks of training? What could have happened??? I'm so scared, what will he do now ? ? Will he stay there ? I already know that he will no longer be graduating with his original division now..so will his mail address and everything else change too ??? OMG :,((
Now I am stalking my mailman for a different reason... my ribbons! LOL lala
@spring932 about husband's letter-- absolutely priceless! Thanks for the laugh.
you can read some of the names on the uniforms..... looks like an all male division. Hope some of you get to see your SR!
Ohiomom: Actually, the SRs/sailors learn info from US here on N4Moms! :-) This site will be a godsend to you all as your sailors go to school and then duty stations. Still so much resourceful info here. I was greatly helped by the group where my son's duty station was. The ladies on N4Moms are wonderful!
On the RTC fb page they have posted pictures! I can't tell if I'm hallucinating a corner of my SR' ear, but go check it out and see if you see yours! I'm still stuck as to what division it is
Ohiomom.... my husband actually wrote a letter to my daughter and said "it feels like you haven't left since your mom knows what you are doing every minute of the day. All because of N4M's."
Thanks diannep one more question for the next letter! My SR probably wishes I would quit reading this site I get so much information, I love it, he on the other hand is probably annoyed at all the questions, but I don't care anything to get longer letters! lol
TeacherMom: They may tell you in a letter or if they call, but be sure to write and ask. Some don't think to tell you. They don't realize what an exciting time it is for you all too! They finish their training on 6-5 (week 6, day 5) and do BattleStations then, so some of you may be able to figure it out if you know their week/day count. We can't post dates here, but I can tell you.....BattleStations for this group are coming up soon!
Good day everybody. Did you notice how cool it is for our SR today? No wonder they get sick. 80 degrees one day and 40 degrees the next!
Diannep-how soon will the SR start knowing their BS date? Will we hear in a letter or just if one happens to get a phone call the weekend of captains cup?
