Thanks evanzmom, she has sent a few letters so I was happy with that, but the box completes the process. Have a great day everyone!

blithes0me - That's such a heartworming story about showertime! Woo-Hoo!!

@missmygirl: that is quite a story!! Too funny about the sock tags! It brings images to mind of the chaos that must have been going on around them, huh? That is pretty cool that you'll see her so close to her birthday!!

I have a story to tell! I am divorced and my daughter sent her box to her dad's address. She shipped out on Feb 20. It's now March 20 and he just gave me her box.....UNOPENED! I couldn't believe it. She threw everything in the box like she had 5 seconds to get everything off and in the box. She left a cardboard box from a padlock she must have been issued and a few tags off Navy socks. I am washing everything except her sweatshirt, I secretly hung that in my closet next to my bathrobe so I can sniff it every morning! Also, I just signed up for the meet and greet, looking forward to meeting you ladies. It will also be my daughter's birthday! Congrats to all who got the box, I feel like I can relate now;)

@blithes0me - bahahaha - that sounds like my SR!!

Thanks sjtina, diannep, and blithes0me. My daughter came over for her lunch break today and told me the same thing. He probably won't get a whole lot right away, and with everyone on hold now I can get his permission like I should have done in the first place. Thanks again all, you are a warm and wonderful bunch :)

Hi all..... if you are one of the people that needs a ride from the airport to your hotel please check out the discussion above "Airport Carpool" I want to make sure that the requests get answered but I also don't want to skip over anyone.

Thanks In Advance!!!

Comment by blithes0me on March 20, 2012 at 3:44pm

I agree with sjtina as well, I haven't sent out my letter to the SR yet either- He should be fine. I strongly believe that since the end of boot camp is coming, if anything he will be happy to recieve mail.
