They put their top 3 choices on where they would ideally like to be stationed... It doesn't always work though... When my (ex) husband went through we wanted San Diego, Pensacola, or Key West.  We got Newport, Rhode Island LOL

I hope everyone had a great week. Your PIR is getting closer and closer :-) I know you are happy about that. I have 6 teenager girls here for the weekend. I cleaned house all day to get ready for them. I think I am nuts lol. Wish me luck!!!

"he", not "it!"  sorry....I don't call my son an "it."  HA!

Cute idea, mamabeans!

spring!  YAH!  So glad to hear that you all are staying!  We miss you guys when the "page" gets quiet!  :-)

Ok, CT sailor, your SR's experience sounds like my son's experience when up there.  My son was always very "private" with bathroom time...well, I laughed when it had told me that the curtains were taken down and they were "timed" on how long they could stay on there!  He got over his "privacy" thing very quickly!

Also, don't worry when they say they aren't working together...that is a very common complaint from the divisions early on.  IT reigns!  My son doesn't like to go to sleep sweaty...always has to shower....well, he said one night, they did  2 hours of IT at night....he said they were so tired, he didn't even care that there was no shower.  He said he was asleep by the time he hit his rack!

Also, better to not even put the first names on here of the SRs he knows.  But if you know where they are from, you can post that here and ask that particular N4Mom to private message you for more info.  We just like to remain as anonymous as possible on this site.

What I did for my SR was I gave mom first names and info that I just gathered from talking to them.  Like, Mom's name is Mary, from Charleston, Virginia, her son is white, 22, and has dark hair..... then I let him make a game out of finding them.  He said they talk and try and figure it out.  Guess its entertainment for them?

I didn't get one today either....My poor mailman-lol I'm sure at this point the SRs are really busy and think about it's pretty exciting that they don't have much left to go! At least that's what my husband keeps telling me to calm me down lol
