Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

15 days till PIR my husband got a call today stating that my son was injured he broke his knee injured a few days ago he's been avoiding to getting check out. working hard not to be seen.. today's leading his division holding the flag.he fell on his knees. was checked & X ray shows fracture was told that he might be sent home .tomorrow he being seen by a specialist. Was told we should hear something by monday. my son sounded so sad and disappointed Wow 15 days before graduation and he gets… Continue

Had a little worry a couple days ago my son called saying he didn't want to do this anymore. because he didn't want to lose contact with his family .. well today we was able to talk .. he staying of course <3 he's was just worred ..they did change ship to ship 14 division 307 I'm so excited, so happy and so proud lol he did mention he feels like a robot that boot camp the physical part was really easy to him but the psychological part little bit overwhelming. So excited . got the form today. my boy on SHIP 13 DIV 307...and his PIR on 8/16  cant wait till the day.. miss him so much. but i no he making us proud..  wish i could hear his voice. since i missed his call the other day. 

My boy . Leaves for boot camp tommorrow 6/20/2013. nervous mom. He goimg to grat lakes chicago.. than to california for training After boot camp. I suppose..

Hi Carmen my son left on the 20th. I got his box but I have not received his form letter. I am happy for you but now I'm anxious and nervous because I haven't received my letter yet. I hope to meet you at the PIR. Wouldn't it be nice if our sons became friends?

Thank you so much for your comforting words. I too find myself looking at my son's grad pic, prom pics etc.....today is the 4th day that he's been gone and I'm doing okay so far today. It comes and goes!! :( it really helps to know that I have someone to talk to. I wonder if they will post pics on here of them, someone told me they do. Thanks again and keep in touch!! :)
