OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

A little about me:
My name is Brandi, I'm 20 years old. I graduated boot camp May 20th. I work in deck department on the USS Ronald Regan CVN 76. I've been deployed for little over 2 months before we got back to homeport, San Diego. Just in the 2 months I was deployed, I crossed the equator and became a shellback (: awesome! lol

1 year in the Navy/ 1 year since I graduated

As of March 23rd,2012 its been 1 year since I have joined the Navy and shipped off to boot camp. The year has gone by quite quickly if I might add. As well as of May 20th, 2012 I've graduated from boot camp. I've done a lot this past year. I've gone to school, 2.5 months of deployment , to San Diego, then to Bremerton for dry dock. 3 more years to go!

Only 11 more days to go til I ship out for BC. I'm soooo excited! I'm not even nervous. I will miss my family and friends though and of course everyone on N4M. With my schooling for 3 weeks. BC good luck breaking me down and thinking you can mess with my head! Cause I'm PREPARED! (:
