DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

My son graduated in September, I remember the most exciting time was during the pass in review (PIR) ceremony, when the "garage door" opens up.  The crowd goes WILD!

If you have any questions, I'd love to help.  I'm a Navy veteran myself.

Please like my group on facebook LINK, I'm just starting out and would love the support.

I also support “calls for recruits” from products sold on ETSY if you order soon I ship next day!

If you are traveling, wishing you a safe journey.

If you can't travel; be sure to watch the video link, it's the next best thing.

Rosa - I received you message but I cannot reply!  Thanks for the extra info...Chris doesn't sound too happy about something (said some people aren't nice) but said he is still having fun.  Yes, we are going to the meet and greet - can't wait to meet you!

I'm so happy you got a letter .

I got one too but it was very short, he's not much of a writer I guess.

Glad to hear your guy is doing so well. :)

I was originally given div 349, now what's that all about, I thought maybe it was a messed up 379, then I called our main recruiter and was told 390, the form letter confirmed this, I am sure someone in 349 down the road will use the book of stamps I sent him, lol

Well, I did something I didn't think I would do.....I drove to the recruiter's office and asked for the address.  But the info I got does not match what is line line as far as ship/division, etc.   She gave me ship 11, division 390, however, when I look online at the address she gave me it shows that address belongs to ship 14.  And ship 14, division 390 would make sense, as our boys would be in "brother" divisions.  I am more confused now than ever.  Guess I will just have to wait for the real form letter to come.  My mail service is so awful out here though.

Master at Arms is a rating very dear to my heart since my Sailor is an MA. Join San Antonio MA's; the discussion, Break down week by week, will let you know what happens at NTTC Lackland (San Antonio). You will also want to join MAA Moms. Other groups to check out are New MAA Mom's (it has not been very active, but is picking up lately) and Security Sailors (it is not as active and includes loved ones of Sailors from other ratings as well). The Rating Information Card for MA can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/ma.pdf. Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) to help you know how to plan your weekend once you receive the form letter.  I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) as well.
