OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to Molly's Adopt A Sailor! Our new adoption was announced yesterday. You can find the information in the "Discussion Forum" on Molly's group page. If you need help or have questions, please do not hesitate to send me a message.

I see you are in Oak Lawn. I live in Carol Stream. You should consider also joining "Chicago Moms". There are a bunch of Navy moms who get together frequently and have a really fun time!

Thanks for joining us. Pat

Let me know if you didn't get the info from me. Here is the link to my website and you can place your order there. Please spread the word and tell everyone in your PIR about the ribbons. If the different divisions decide to do scarves as a way of spotting each other from far away let me know. I have them in pretty much every color and you can get them with an anchor and/or DIV on them and some people even get them with their Sailors name. they are also on my website so be sure and check those out. http://www.uniquememorymakers.com/

The Chicago group (see link on my page) are doing a Cubs game this summer. Check it out, too.

Hi and Welcome.

We are happy to have you on the Navy for Moms site.  You are invited to join either the Illinois or Missouri family page as listed below.  It is a great way to find families in your area and even help plan meet and greets. We also have some packing parties for our troops overseas getting together.

Looking forward to hearing from you in one of our groups!

PS.  Feel free to “cruise” my page and see if there are any other groups that interest you. One of my passions is supporting our deployed troops.  Check out http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject and see if it is a group you may like to join.
