OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 8/25/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED.  Vaccinations still required.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

I got it at 5:00 pm, i think it's 7:00 pm in Chicago. It was just a quick call. We we're supposed to leave vegas at 7:00 am (thursday) but decided to cancel the flight coz he told me they wont let us see him. PIR is over, can't stop crying again.. saw the pics of today's PIR at US Navy Rec Training command wall, so sad but i guess we have to stay strong...

Hey!  Please join the FIT PROGRAM group for lots of support during this next journey for your son.  Those ladies on there are wonderful!

Don't worry...he'll get there!  :-)  Be sure to order the PIR DVD since you won't be able to be there.  I know he would enjoy seeing it.
