Moving Spouse After marriage?

Hey ladies I'm looking for information on having the Navy move a spouse after they get married. I know this question had been answered a couple times. Any link or info would be appreciated!

Thanks,

PERSONAL THINGS ALLOWED??

Before my son left for boot camp on May 23 he asked us to bring him his phone and laptop when we come up for graduation.  Are these things he can really have at "A" school?  His girlfriend wants to bring a small gift for his graduation also.  I just have no idea if he is allowed to have personal things with him after boot camp.  Does anyone know for certain?

I got another call today.  He called me yesterday and said he was doing okay.  He sounded good.  He asked how everyone was and said to tell everyone HI...

He gave me an address and said he had already written me a letter and that his things had been sent home.  He said that he possibly would be getting to call once a week.

Im glad things are going well for him…

So much for a long DEP.

My daughter went to MEPS last Thursday, June 30. We were fully prepared for a 6 to 9 month wait before heading to BC. To our surprise, she was given an August 24 leave date. Wow!! Shock! So her high school graduation party that was held on July 2nd turned into a celebration and good-bye party as well. I have so many mixed emotions but most of all I am very proud and excited for her. I am anxious to see the women she becomes serving in the Navy and a little sad to see my baby girl leave home… Continue

It has been a week....

One week ago at this time I watched my son get into a Highland Express to head to Chicago, Ill. to leave his life with his family and begin a new adventure and start his new life as a Navy sailor...I was a lot of emotions all rolled into one.....VERY PROUD....excited for him because I knew this was something he had always wanted, but I was also sad because I knew I was going to miss him soooo very much.  He is an awesome young man and I so want him to be everything he wants out of his life…

Cleaning his room

We went in and pulled up the carpet and strated getting every thing in his room cleaned up today. His water bed started leaking right before he left so his room was in pretty bad shape. I was thinking about painting and redecorating as we will use it for a guest room as well. I was it to be something that he likes, not anythnig girlie. It's tought going through his things but I think it will be a nice surprise when he comes home!

nervously waiting

My other half leaves next Sunday for boot camp in Great Lakes. I'm nervous about how hard the 2 months will be, but we've been waiting on his departure date for about a year now, so I'm also excited about our future together after boot camp (we plan to get married shortly after boot camp). I know I will miss him, but I have faith in myself that i can hold it together for 2 months and just stay busy!!

3rd week in and just recieved letters!!

Yeah!!!!! I recieved my son's 1st letters yesterday almost 3 weeks to the day, so moms and dads that are still waiting hang in there!! His comic humor really made me laugh and I took it as a good sign. He called the rdc's similar to satin but in human form, lol!!! His letter was actually really funny, though I know deep down it's the hardest thing to date he's done at 18 1/2.Have not gotten the phone call yet, though my phone is glued to my hip. I did notice he was originally in ship 09 div… Continue

2 weeks today

well, this past 2 weeks have really gone by so fast and yet, sometimes, they seemed to stand still, dead in their tracks...i have written letter's every other day and have posted his address on my fb page and some of my over 400+ friends have written too.  He made Master at Arms and i'm sure there have been times he would have rather slept than taken a chewing out for something someone else has done...i look in his room… Continue
