My boyfriend left for bootcamp on Monday, I cried like a baby when he first left, of course. But surprisingly, Tuesday&Wednesday were really easy for me. Yesterday it really hit me that he is gone. I just feel so lonely. & dont know how to handle it really. I dont have anyone to really talk to about it, because no one…

Here it is, Labor Day weekend.. My daughter was supposed to ship out in early October, got her rating changed and now ships out in March. I am wishing all who have a loved one shipping out soon, my heartfelt prayers, and to enjoy your last Labor Day with them-( at least for awhile) Make it count, and try not to cry to hard... I know until my daughter got switched to March, I couldn't look at her without crying..
Have a wonderful and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!

For those who aren't in my son's Division, I got a call today that my SR has the Chicken Pox -AGAIN.
He had a mild case when his older siblings had it. He was 2. I guess it was so mild he didn't get antibododies....so now he's in quarentine in the VA hospital. There is a break out of CP in another soon to graduate division... so my SR caught their virus. He's fine, but itchy. And rather annoyed at being removed from his group. He is hoping only for a short while and that his PIR won't…

We just got back from dropping my 2nd son off at the recruiters office to go to MEPS to take his ASVAB and physical.
I have a son that just graduated from boot camp and is at Nuke School. I am really nervous I hope I can make it
thru another 9 weeks. It was so much harder than I thought it would be. I am real proud of both my boys for making
such good decisions.

My son starts his senior year of high school tomorrow and after that...July 25, 2013 he's off to boot camp. As a mom, I know how fast time is going fly by, he doesn't. He's my last. I look at the posts from my friends on Facebook and they are wishing their 6th and 8th graders a "great first day of school." I'm crying like a baby and he hasn't even started. I know, deep breath.…

Today August 28, 2012 my son Tony has left for Rota, Spain. He is only 19 years of age and I feel as if though he was still my "baby boy'. It was so difficult watching him walk away from me at the airport, but I know that he is a young man and he is a soldier. No longer am I able to make decisions for him to prevent harm or heart ache, but we all have to go our own way and find our oath in life. I am proud of the life decisions he has made and I know that behind his choices were may nights…
