Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Got my 20 second call on monday. Got my kid in a box on Thursday, Now all I am waiting on is an address. I promised my son I would write him as much as possible, told him I would try to write him a letter every day. Well I have been writing a letter every day. Wow this is So hard. My son left on Tues the July 19th and my computer crashed the same day. I wasn't able to get on navy4moms until now. I miss him so much. ( but aslo very proud ) Can anyone tell me how to find out what his DIR # or PIR is? When and/or how will i get an address to write him? It feels like he has been gone for weeks but its only been a few days. Thank you for your help

We got our official family visit for Greg starting DEP. It was interesting because all this time I heard ENT and it was EN2, my ears aren't quite what they used to be I guess; either that or they are pitched for screaming voices of elementary students instead of sailors.
