Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Here is the Heads at Ease mailing label:

When we mail pillowcases to our "own" groups (not one of Molly's adopted groups), use this label only on the package. If the pillowcases are going to one of Molly's adopted groups, use both labels. Both labels are close in size. Download the HAE-Label.PDF file below and you will be able to print the Heads at Ease labels on Avery 8163 or plain paper. If you print on plain paper you will need to tape it onto the package. I have also added a note to be included in your pillowcases. Please fill in your name on the note. The note can be printed on Avery Postcards or plain paper.

We changed the label for several reasons. One was to make "Heads at Ease" more visible. Second, we needed a logo that was not copyrighted.

We were asked to make one for people who are not "Navy" Moms so here is what Sue and I came up with:

I am not a seamstress at all but I have recruited a friend to make some pillowcases. Do I contact you when I get them and you will let me know where to send them?
Matt's Mom, Gather up the pillowcases. When HAE gets its next group, Sue will let you know where to mail them. If we adopt one of Molly's groups, you will need to join the group where the address is listed. We have not discussed yet how we will distribute our address if we ae not a part of Molly's group. For instance, last month some of us participated in the sub mailing and sent them to Lyn. Sue gave me the address in a private e-mail. The Guam group was a part of Molly's adopted group and we got the address through that. So, for now hang on to them.

I think it is great that your friend is participating!
I do too. Do I have your personal email Matt's Mom? that is the easiet way for me to communicate. I have it listed in my address book as: HAE crew, HAE crew 2 and HAE sewing crew. It's gotten that big. The 1st 2 are alphabetical.

please send me a pm with it if I don't have it. thanks!
Bump up!
Hye Dori, it looks great. Would you email it to me? I need to forward to Pat and a few others. and that is easier for me. thanks so much again!

YOU ARE THE BEST!
Bumping this up so that people can find note and label files. Dori
Sending it up to the top so it's easier to find.
Welcome Granny V, that is just super that you want to help. You are right, it is a non stop project and you will love it.
Welcome, Granny V. It's great to have another sewer. There never can be too many because alas there are so many worthy recipients out there. Don't forget to take pictures when you get ready to mail them out. Sue, our fearless leader, loves to keep pictures. Also when we get thank you notes it helps us identify who did the sewing. We do have notes to include with your pillowcases.
Hi Granny V, Welcome to the group.
I thought I would bring this back up to the top in case anyone else is looking for the labels to put on the packages.
I have replaced the HAE-note file and the link to it appears in the paragraph. I don't know how to get it at the bottom as the others are. In any case, please destroy the old notes you may have. The HAE e-mail address on it is going to vanish because I am going to drop Earthlink. Until we get a new e-mail established you will need to write yours on it.

I will keep Earthlink for a while so that we hopefully won't miss any thank you notes. They have been so wonderful!
