Okay, ladies, Sue has a mystery project and it is BIG! There are so many details that still need to be resolved and time is very short. So sewers, (wo)man your machines. Sue says, "we need generic patriotic prints for a huge mailing at the end of the month." Even if this falls through, the pillowcases will be used.

The challenge is on: How many different pillowcases can you get done?

these were made and donated by the Van Loan family. Mom Kathy and daughters Emily (13) and Hannah (11). These are put away and covered so the grubby mitt lady can't get them. haha.
thought I'd throw those green bubbles in for alittle variety.
These are great! I have sent you the count. I'll post it here when we announce.
Sue, the green bubble one is my favorite....maybe because I'm "seeing" in red, white, and blue. Green is nice for a change!
I was thinking the same thing Ally when I got these from the family. Plus the bubbles fit right into the mystery of the project. haha.
I talked to my contact this morning. We are close to being able to announce this project, but she said "not yet".

so hang tight and do alittle sewing. I know you will want to have at least 1 pillowcase in this project.
I have now recruited another person to sew for our project. Me and my daughter-in-law made 10 pillowcases today for our mystery project.
Matt's Mom, Should I put you down for 10 pillowcases?
Matt's mom-that is just awesome! thank you.
Yes, put me down for 10 and we will be making more next week so I will let you know what that count is. I went today and bought more material so we would have plenty to work on next week.
Woo hoo! Love it!
Matt's mom-you're hooked, aren't you? haha. know the feeling.
Sue definitely hooked. I catch my self stopping at stores just to look at the fabric. Something that I NEVER did before HAE.
