About 2 yrs ago while my daughter was in DEP, I googled US Navy T shirts and one of the selections was Navy for Moms. It was all quite by accident, but has been great! This site is packed full of friends, info, & pictures. Anything you need. Thanks for being here!
My daughters Recuiter.
Hi All,

I found this site because my son's recruiter give it to me.. But I remember seeing a advertisement about it somewhere I think it was on TV I'm not sure.
I stumbled across this site briefly a couple of times while websurfing, but without really thinking about it. I really "found" the site when my son's recruiter directed me to it. I kind-of said "Oh, yeah, I've seen this before," and joined. It's been an obsession ever since.
When my son told me he wanted to enlist in the Navy, I googled everything I could think of to set my mind to rest with his decision. Somehow, Navy4Moms came up on one of my Google searches. Am I glad it did! After reading so many stories, I thought my son is doing an extraordinary thing. I am so proud I could cry...........
I was sent a link from one of my best friends, who is a Navy Wife. My oldest son is in Nuke School now.
I found N4M from a magazine ad! This has been a wonderful place to share a very unique experience with many wonderful people!
I saw it in a magazine and then my son's recruiter really encouraged me to join! Since then I've seen commercials on TV.
I'm glad we're here!
Just searching the Internet before my son even joined he was in DEP for 7 months and this website is a blessing, I mean a true blessing, we have 3 weeks before PIR and boy I just can hardly wait. !!! Thanks so much !!! GO NAVY! GO N4M!
Hello,
I found your e-mail address on the USS Carl Vinson Facebook web site. I hope I am directing my question to the right person.
My son is on the Vinson and we would like to meet him when the ship docks in California. Since this is his first deployment we are unfamiliar with proceedures.
Any info or help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
We will be very happy to add you to our Ombudsman distribution list. Please send me the following items for verification:I have also attached some information, we have sent out in the past.

Also, here is a great website for Navy parents www.NavyforMoms.com
This is how we found it.
I googled Navy Moms as soon as my son told me he was scheduled to leave for boot camp - hoping to get some answers and ease my fears...
My sailor gave me a magnet from his recruiter.
