I would love to hear ideas for what to get my son for Christmas this year. He leaves for BC on January 4th, 2011 and has already donated most of his clothes and started packing up his room. The only thing he has asked for is to put the tree and decorations up early. So we are going all out on that part. Other than the pre paid phone card and money, we are at a loss to tell people what to get him. He goes to P'cola for A school for CTR after BC.  Any ideas are welcome. THANKS!

There is very little which he can take to boot camp, so IUOs for gifts to be sent to P-cola. NEX gift cards can be purchased online and sent directly to him.

He can take a small religious medal, a pocket bible, a watch (look up the uniform regs for what kind), a wallet.

Once he gets to P-Cola, he may not need much right away, and it is better to keep possessions to a minimum until he gets his first assignment. Do not plan on buying electronics for him unless you are geekier than he is. Perhaps a small digital camera. I promise though, if he decides he wants a laptop, phone, or game system, he will know precisely what he wants.

Or a donation to a charity he supports. Seems chintzy to some people, but others truly love this idea.
Thanks! I think these are great ideas. Anti M~I think my son would even like the donation idea!
