The blocks should be 6" and made out of a 100% cotton fabric. Since we are doing various States, I'm planning on using a red, white and Blue color scheme for the connecting or bridging fabri

I would like to get all the blocks by the end of March. PM me and I'll send you my address

6" square... UTAH . . . cotton??? or poly cotton blend?  Oh, and can I embroider it if I want to?
Cotton would be best. Embroidered sounds great.
Can you add the information as to the size of block/squares, fabric color/contents to the above?  If my state is taken, will you accept some blocks that you can use however you want?  Preferred colors for accent blocks? Also, can you give us information here about Timothy as well?  Thanks!  Also, do you have a date/goal for the ending of this project???

If some one else is doing your State, maybe you might consider doing the State of a Family member. Maybe the State your sailor is stationed in. The block could represent his ship, sub or base? Just a thought.

Since I will need 80 blocks, any you decide to do will be greatly appreciated.

Timothy is a Marine EOD.

Lyn, Unfortunately, I don't have time to get one done before I go to Japan.  Now if something changes and I don't go to Japan, I will do one from Maine.
Very excited about this.  I will get mine done this week.  I can draw the HAE logo pretty good, so will do that and an AZ one.  sagauaros are my specialty complete with a woodpecker.  ahah
DC. I won't get this done before the first week in April. So, if you get back from Japan by then, you can still do Maine. If not, have a good time in Japan.
I will see if I can get the guy I work with to have his Mom make one for Tennessee.  He told me she likes to quilt, so I will see if I can recruit them.
I will do... Missouri... even though I am from TEXAS.  Do you want two identical blocks or one for the State and one for filler?
so you need the states that are not in the list above? I will do a few states. You give me up to 10 and let me know the details of what you would like on them and I will get it to you! PM me

Ok I see ..Put me down for

arkansas

oklahoma

colorado

wyoming

montana at least if you need more let me know I already have some great ideas!!!!

Since I don't quilt, I have a question.  Do you wash the block first? Thank you.
