The blocks should be 6" and made out of a 100% cotton fabric. Since we are doing various States, I'm planning on using a red, white and Blue color scheme for the connecting or bridging fabri

I would like to get all the blocks by the end of March. PM me and I'll send you my address

I forgot about a write up.  please refresh my memory and I'll have to email it.

Dori, I thought it looked great and I don't see a shadow.

Some of the blocks came with write-ups about the states. But, most did not. The squares pretty much said it all. So, if you want to add something to send with the quilt, that's fine. If not, that's fine also.

Hey Lady I sent a 6 x 6 cardstock of the actual state ...have you recieved them yet? I can wait to see what you think.

Sue I love your heads at ease logo block so cool!!!!!!

No, but today's mail hasn't arrived yet. We get our mail late in the day. I still need yours and Paymasters along with the others. I'll give you all an update this evening. Promise.

The blocks look great, ladies. As usual, everyone is going a great job. I have my block almost ready and have printed up some trivia about my state.

Llove, I don't think I have your mailing address.  Can you send it to me?  Thank you.

DWG The mail just arrived and your squares are here. The fabric softner sheet make them smell wonderful. I will send the card stock maps along with the quilt. Is there anything you want me to add to them, to tell him something about you?

YAHOOOO , no please just tell him that I love him so much ! Think about what a tough Marine he has been and so proud to hopefully be able to call him my friend !

Word it in your own eloquent way, I can't find the words right now. OH maybe to just remember that time with nature is very healing??? What do you think?

I hope you like them, I forgot to take pictures of them. I just can not wait to see what the quilt turns out like. God Bless you for doing this !

I will do my best to write something. I am so frustrated that I can't take any pictures. I will have the camera back in time to take a picture of the quilt top and then the finished quilt.

Thanks again.

I have  a page out of one of the cloth books I make that has all  a  map of the USA with  the year all the states  joined up. Then there is another page that has the original thirteen colonies. My mom used to make cloth books. I will send it to you, If you can use it, great, if not  don't worry, I figured since Tim was a history Buff,  and we are doing states for this, it would be cool.  But   I don't know if you can or want to incorporate into the  quilt. I don't want to mess up your design. Since my mom passed away 5 mos ago today, and she was on my mind, I thought I would send it. I am also sending you a pillow with pockets made from  Marine fleece.. "Once a Marine, Always a Marine."

Here are the blocks I made for the quilt:

The New Mexico and Nebraska are on yellow fabric, although it washed out in the picture.  Lyn, you should receive them in a couple days.

Thanks they look wonderful. I'm looking forward to them arriving soon.

These are so beautiful! I love that "Every stitch made with Navy mom LOVE"
