Hi BHTMom ...The other thing about airline tickets is they caution on nonrefundable tickets.  Yes the division is scheduled to graduate on 5/13 but they say sometimes an SR will not graduate with his division due to illness, injury, etc.  You may want to post your question on the main group so or even on the boot camp group you might get some good insights.

Thanks jdmom... yes I did research all of that and we are flying Southwest and they are really good and letting you use your flights as credit it you have to cancel. Not refundable but credit is fine with me...more excuses to go somewhere :-)  - We do have to fly into MIdway in lieu of OHare but it looks to be just an extra 20 miles.
Any Moms here from Southern California ? More specifically in Murrieta ? (I hope that question is not against the rules? :-)  )
yes!!! Im from San Clemente! Just around the corner from you! I havent heard a word yet on my son...Maybe a letter today??? Gosh I hope so!  Sorry about your sons injury.... maybe its not so bad that a couple of days wont cure!

In his letter he said the kid he met was now from San Diego Area but they went to school together in Murrieta. Are you flying out there as well ? Yes I am hoping he will be able to rehab it and continue on - If so, I assume his graduation date will be delayed and you will have to kick me out of your "May 13 th Grad" blog .  :-)

Sorry BHT I am on the other coast...Philadelphia suburbs.

Ok ladies other than Virginia has anyone else gotten a real letter?  I didn't get anything yesterday, I am hoping today.

I got a real letter(s) yesterday...I was on my way to church but got a text from my sons girlfriend that she got letters so I high tailed it home first to check the mailbox before heading to church :-)

Good and Bad news.... He is actualy enjoying it BUT he dislocated his shoulder SOOOOOO, I believe he may find out today the potential fate of his future there. And wouldn't you know it...I JUST made all reservations for graduation yesterday :-)     Oh well, such is life.

I asked about Murrieta as my son mentioned in his letter that he and another kid recognized eachother from High School. BUT he did not say if the kid was in the same Div. as him so i was just wondering.

So sorry for his shoulder, We will be praying for him that all will be well.
BHT sorry about the shoulder issue, maybe it will be ok and just delay things a bit.  Let us know when you find out I will say some extra prayers for him(and you)!

Thank you Ladies.... You know I always just pray for God's will to be done in his life so just gotta let it play out and have faith in whatever happens.  :-)  But the prayers are truly appreciated.   I hope you all get your wonderful letters soon !!

Hi Ladies..... well we got a VERY short call from my son. They are going to let him stay for awhile and try to rehab it there. How long I do no know as he only had a minute to talk. He just wanted to let us know he was not being sent home right away. So he now has a new Ship / Div number and will get a new graduation date...if he rehabs good.... So, I guess it is good-bye from me from this particular board. Good luck to all of yours sons and safe travels to Chicago !!

Good Luck to your SR pop on every once in a while and let us know how he is doing.
