Lyn the quilt is BEAUTIFUL!  Thank you so much for doing this.  Ladies you all did a great job on the squares.
It looks awesome,  really beautiful work girls.   Lynn, you did a really great job job putting it together. Most of you  have embrodiery type  sewing machines.  WOW...
not this girl ....I was feeling intimidated when I first started to see the squares...but I did my two squares by hand and I have to tell you that I have played with the idea of getting a machine, but every time I work on something  I have GREAT memories of my Gram teaching me and the smiles when I give as a gift...I'll stick to hand work...but their squares are Beautiful

AWESOME Lyn.  I love the quilt.  I'm glad that you used that AZ square.  I love that fabric.  thanks for posting those photos!

Nita, I am sorry that you are feeling blue.  Will pray for you.  When I get blue, I look to see what I can do for someone else.  so get into that fabric of your mom's and see what fun pcs you can make out of it.

Oh and I hand wrote on my squares.   Lyn did the embroidery on the AZ square,.  I sent that one as an afterthought.

I learned to do that after my daughter died.  I started to make baby blankets for the Crisis Pregnancy Center and it really helped me with my grief.

I know I shouldn't have favorites. But the two that were hand done, one of them is Hawaii, are at the top of my favorites list. They were done by hand and are beautiful. Another one that I loved was from Texas. OH, and New Jersey was a lot of fun. I guess I have about 50 favorites. LOL  Everyone did a great job. I probably should have taken a picture of each and every square, but I only thought of that after we mailed the quilt.

Sue, I am making pillowcases.. lots of them.. some for our sailors.. some for the nursing home residents as they  come into the nursing home, then later for all the residents. And if my power should  ever go out, my little singer runs on 4 AA batteries... I do feel better though as  while I was on Facebook earlier reading  my posts.. a little chat box popped up.. it was my seabee.  seeing "hi mom"  and his picture was the sweetest thing. So I am happier. I am going to a craft fair in a few minutes. going to hand out cards for  people looking for material.  gotta make money somehow....

Yeh I think I will make  some baby quilts for Birthright.. which is kinda like your crisis pregnancy center.

thanks for posting this in here too Shirley!

It is Beautiful.....Thank You Very Much for letting me have the privileged of being a part of it....also thanks for sharing the Pic of Tim................oh to see the smiles on their faces....teaches me something........hope you all have a blessed day tomorrow
Amen to that Shirley!  Nita, I just saw your post from 4-30 and Lyn's.  Make those pcs.  And Lyn, I am glad that you liked NJ.  I had fun with that one.
