June 6

My son is in Division 937 and I am already so excited to attend PIR. Has anyone made their hotel reservations yet or am I the only one so anxious she did it BEFORE receiving the official letter?

So far I've only received the "I got here call" and "the box." Reminded me of birth -- naked they came into civilian life and naked they left it for the Navy :)

What a journey we are all on together!

CONGRATS DIV 937!!!!!!!

Yup -- I just got off the phone with my SR, too. He was THRILLED about Captain's Cup. He also said they got a 5.0 on their latest physical fitness assessment. They have LOTS of flags and performed very well at yesterday's PIR. Tomorrow they are singing at chapel. One test left -- Battle Stations -- and they are ready!

Yes ladies the group is so happy. My son was on cloud nine. So happy for them. Can't wait to meet everyone. Just a few days left :)
How exciting for our SR's to win at Captains Cup!!!!!!!!!! I'm so thrilled for those of you that got calls. Thanks for passing on the info. I wish they all had been able to call but I'm just so thrilled for the division...what a great note to take into BS!
OmahaRudy - what's it mean that they got a 5.0 on the final PFA? Is that a perfect score meaning everyone passed?
I'm so happy that are singing at chapel tomorrow....i know my SR will enjoy that! See you all soon...can't wait!!!!!!
Yes, Loriemae. No deductions --they all passed :)

See you in a few days! You'll recognize me, I'll be carrying the Navy bag Lala made for me!
After having a pit in my stomach for the last few days, I too, got a call today from my SR! She was so excited about winning the Captains Cup and recruit heaven. She even was able to post on Facbeook! I also got a letter yesterday and she has lost 11 pounds and is at 13 percent body fat! She said I am lean, mean push up machine! I can't wait to be there, see you all on Thursday!
She got to post on Face book! Very cool!

See you soon!

Mine, too but no phone call.  Heading out later today...driving from Massachusetts!  So excited, I cannot wait!!

I cant wait to see you all on Thursday either, Maybe we should have a ribbon on or something,

J said he had to have his uniform tailored 3 times so far as he has lost so much weight. (Gee wonder if I would survive that diet? HAHA)

It is like Thursday will never get here...... I cant wait I have printed out all my stuff.

Question, Is the parking pass only good for one day? J will be staying at the GL for his A school, so Maybe we get more time with him?

Also got my "Last" letter from him today, and he drew me a map of where I am to sit, then there was a second page and I though wow another page, nope another map drew big making sure I know where to sit. He was funny and it made me laugh out loud when I saw them.

HHe hurt his knee and was sent to sick bay but got released early, which is good and is ready ready for Monday, he said they all are, which is great. Cant wait till the call Tuesday. Also told him We would meet him in the bleachers as it is crazy when the call liberty, and he said he would actually be putting his horn away and then Navy would really frown on a ruined horn, so I guess I will wait for him and a friend of his who will have no family with him, so I told him to tell his friend that he can use my phone to call home and can go and hang out with us for the day.

Hi all!  I also posted on the PIR 7/27 page but wanted to put this out there for the 900 division...Congrats to all of them for winning the Captain's Cup!  My daughter is in the choir and a stick.  When she called me on Saturday to tell me they earned phone calls because of the Captain's Cup, I remembered to ask what flag...She will be carrying the Captain's Cup Flag for 937!  Whoot Whoot!

Just got the Official word..... I am the ELATED SUPER PROUD mom of.... A UNITED STATES SAILOR!!!!!!!!!!!! His entire Division Passed Battles stations, he is exhausted but Happy. Cant wait to see him and squeeze him on Friday

Got the call. Yes our family (division) made it. So happy for everyone!!

Can't wait to meet all of you in person. I'll have my ribbon on :) See each of you Friday, some of you on Thurs. as long as I get in town early enough. We are driving up from GA. Leaving tomorrow around 6pm. Going to be a long ride but well worth it in the end. My boys are missing their brother so much & I'm missing my son. This is the first time he's been away from us for longer than a week (football camp). He's supper happy to see us as well. He already told me he'll probably be crying, he's always said he doesn't cry so for him to tell me that means he's grown up a lot & misses us too.

Congrats we made it!!!!!!!!!!!
