While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I bought a husquvarna, ruby. Someone traded it in for a better model so it was a deal. I just haven't had the time to sit down and play with it-been working on kitchen remodel instead. :/

Yes we received all boxes by Tuesday, and gave em out yesterday for the fourth which was great! Also, I found MINE and I love it! :) Wer'e going to start thankyou card efforts soon, mid -this week expressing our appreciation of Heads At Ease contributed gifts.

Dear Rose and "Heads at Ease" crafters,
Thank you for the pillow cases you made us and sent downrange. I was in our
community center building the other night during our July 4th celebration
(the most fun I've had during my 6-month deployment thus far) and saw some
beautiful pillowcases sitting in a basket for us to take. There was one with
a white background a red polka dots with a farm scene on the edge that
grabbed my attention. It reminded me of my kitchen at home, where I have
several cow-themed items like my teapot, vase, towels, measuring cups, etc.
Although we have a free linen exchange here, I absolutely hate using other
peoples' sheets, even if they are "clean" so I always pack my own. My sister
actually sent me some Toy Story sheets that she found at Walmart and I love
them. This pillow case that you made is bright and brings a smile to my face
and some color to my drab room.

Now I am really kicking myself for being behind! I got the contact info for this sub from a WW2 vet that I met in Feb. I should have taken this note along as we chatted about the USS Tucson. Good thing I have his email address. BTW, he has a friend who will contact me about another sub. They are tricky to do.
All of the pillowcases sent were made in Tucson since they went to the USS Tucson.
Thank you so much for taking the time to sew pillow cases for us. It is really great to receive such support from our patron city! It really feels great to be appreciated by those so far away and that I have never met. Your small donation of time and material really made my day.
