You are welcome!!! Don't worry about those tears - there is plenty of that going around so you are always in good company!!! Just remember that!! We wear our tears proudly!!
My daughter also enlisted as a depper the summer between her junior and senior year. I thought for sure that with so much time inbetween something would happen and she would change her mind. But before I knew it we were watching her swear in for the final time and sending her off at the airport in Cleveland!!!! My heart was ripped out of my chest and crumpled up and tossed on the floor and stepped on several times!!!!!!! Ok - maybe I exaggerate a bit, but that's how much it hurt!!! So any time you need to talk or a shoulder to cry on, just stop by and let us help you along!!!
I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!! We are a close, friendly, supportive group of Moms and look forward to getting to know you and your sailor. I see you are brand new to N4Ms, is your daughter in boot camp now? Please feel free to jump in and join our chats. You can ask any questions you may have, talk freely about your feelings, fears or concerns, or just chat about life. We are all in different phases of our daughters Naval careers and we are always there for each other!!! I am from OH although I just recently moved to Marquette, MI for a couple months. We have a couple other moms in the group from OH also! Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!!
