Jane...any of the places you suggested sound fine. I'm thinking Carl's Jr. is usually never crowded and usually quieter...so might work good for our purposes?? what do you think? If everyone else prefers one of the other places, I'm fine with it!

Charlotte..congrats to your sailor....and to you too! Looking forward to hearing about his A school experience! Lucky for him...Florida! Our sailor is still in A school at GL. Too cold in the winter for us desert rats!

We are home from PIR! what an amazing event. My son was Honor Guard so they came out into the drill hall before everyone else and they actually posed for pictures in front of our bleachers!! It was awesome!! They all looked so handsome/beautiful in their dress whites!! The feeling of pride for all of them is overwhelming. He is now off to A school in Florida but he has text me or called for the past two days.....what a relief this all is! Thank you ladies for all the support. GO NAVY!!

Congratulations to your son on all the accomplishments and happy news!  (by the way, you're not supposed to show names in pics here on N4M; you can blur it with the retouch tool in Edit if you have iPhoto)  Handsome guy!

Charlotte - congrats on your son's graduation!  I know you will enjoy it.  I know we did the first time & will be doing again in 4 weeks.  Our son is also in a 900 division.

Yay for seeing pics of our boys on the internet. My sailor PIRs this friday! We leave for GL today!! I am so excited and bursting with pride! He will then head to Florida for  A school (IT). I cannot wait to get a hug from that boy! This is definitely a rollercoaster ride. This site has been so helpful along with the Navy Facebook page. He is in a 900 division so he will perform at his PIR. They were also privileged and participated in a Memorial Day parade and we saw a youtube video of him! I can even image his first deployment......Go Navy!!
