Hope to be at the coffee on the 3rd Thursday this month! Tell the ladies hi from me!
Wish I could be there-- I have a class tomorrow night.
Jane MM Mom-- isn't the coffee at AJ's the 1st and 3rd Thursday? I'm totally off. I sure would like to come.
I asked this on another group too (about the bible) and they said he could take one. I think his is probably bigger than what might be allowed but I have a smaller one I was thinking I might send with him. It is about the size of two iphones side by side, do you think that would be small enough? Also there are several blank pages in it I was thinking about using those to write messages on from each of us. If we do do you think they would make him send it home?
do the kids get to keep a bible with them at bootcamp? if so what size? I was thinking of highlighting some verses that would be comforting or uplifting in my sons bible for him to take with him. He has not gone to church with us in over a year but I thought if he had his bible with him he might be able to draw comfort from it at boot camp.
Also I was wondering about bedding, I assume that they take care of sheets blankets and pillows in bootcamp but what about when he goes to subschool/A school. My son in law is in the army and I think he had to buy his own at A school
Jane, MM Mom, Sorry I missed the mtg last week. Just moved my mother into assisted living. Getting her settled and preparing home to sell is a fulltime job! See you when things settle down.
