JoJo - ditto what Dillons Mom said!  When those doors came up, and we could see all those legs marching in time, then marching in - Wow!  It was snowing and all the guys and gals had on their pea coats, but when they came in and stopped in their areas, it was quite a sight to see them all take off their coats, almost in unison.  Then they passed them all to the end of the line, and others came and gathered them up (obviously, they were able to get their coats later).  I still love thinking about it.  You feel as "one" with the rest of the families, and so very proud of all of them!  Best to you and your sailor!  Have a good time the rest of the weekend, and a safe journey back.

Thanks, Kathy, now I know!  Well, the Pass in Review was wonderful.  I'm so glad we took so many pictures.

JoJo - did you take extra batteries and/or chargers for the cameras?  You'll need them!

ThanksMom - wonderful wedding photo!  They are a beautiful couple!

Okay, Ladies, I have to ask this.  What does PIR stand for (other than Phoenix International Raceway)?  I asked Eric, and he didn't know, or maybe he didn't understand my question.

I remember we went to the NEX when we saw Eric graduate - I think I spent a mini-fortune.  But, hey, this only happens once!  I got a nice, warm Navy sweatshirt, a mug, a "Navy Mom" magnet, a key chain, a shirt for my husband Rick, and things for Eric and my granddaughter.  Luckily, my daughter, my sister and her daughter purchased their own things.  We all had a wonderful time - we had lunch at a real "Chicago style" pizza parlor, went to the multi-storied mall in downtown Chicago, walked in the snow, took all kinds of pictures, and ducked into a Starbucks (which was really busy) for coffee and to thaw out.  Wonderful memories from the whole weekend!  And yes, we all cried - a lot!  As everyone says, JoJo, take plenty of Kleenex!

JoJo..forgot to say...the Wildberry Restaurant is THE BEST for breakfast. Just ask at the hotel desk for directions...it's not far.

JoJo...just the mention of the word PIR, and I get goosebumps all over! The word Awesome only describes it mildly...You know we are all gonna be waiting to hear all the details when you return and yes, see lots of pic!

Enjoy, and bring tissues!

That's so lovely! Best wishes to them - & yes Kathy I had the same thought, they do look young!  :)  SUCH a pretty bride.  Love the necklace.

JOJO!!!  Anyone who has seen PIR gets a pang when knowing another mom is on her way.  Have a wonderful time and post those pics!!
