Hi Arizona Navy Moms.  Since my son officially finished his Corpsman and FMTB training, I have changed my Navy For Moms name.  (I used to be Reecesmom.)

Marcy, thanks so much for the invitation.  I will not be able to make it, but please keep me on the list for future events as I will be needing support in the near future.  My son is attached to the 4th Medical Battalion as a reservist and he is scheduled to deploy to the Black Sea in February!

Have fun this weekend everyone, and I'm glad there are so many PROUD Navy moms in AZ!!!

WOW!  As of this morning, our RSVP "yes" list has hit 49, so with the admiral's mom and cousins we have crossed the 50 mark!  If anyone would like the link to the invitation, here it is:  tinyurl.com/invitation-and-RSVP

Isn't that gorgeous? I swear, they should change the rules and up the age for enlistment (by about 20 years or so LOL) - I'd be in!   "Manning the rails" gets me teary-eyed, I just can't help myself, the Navy-mom version of a Pavlovian response I guess :)

Anita...I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that someone else was bringing barbeque! Thank goodness we have Marcy! I'll do barbeque another time! See ya Sunday.

Getting some nice lightening and heavy drops here in south Chandler. Need more of the wet stuff.

Wow!  Here comes the rain and the wind.  It's really hitting the windows, too!

Jane, after you click on the photo and bring it full-screen, you should see some options at lower left - Tag, Share, Download, etc.  Click on Download and save it to your computer, that should do it.

Oh, and thanks for the info on the buns, Marcy!  I won't get any.

We have a lot of lightning overhead, and I was just outside watching Eric and Jayden swim.  Big drops were starting to fall.  We had a lot of rain earlier in the evening, which we need.

I think Maureen is providing the barbecue and it comes with bread so no, don't think you have to.  Barb was going to bring bbq but since Maureen is, she's doing up her famous mac & cheese for us.  I meant to call Maureen today but work was too hectic to get everything done, but I will tomorrow, promise :)   Can't believe the wind and rain hitting my house right now, wow!
