That is Awesome! such great news Librarianmom I am so excited for him and your family. when they are determined and focus anything is possible. you will love it, Graduation was so exciting! I do have to give a little advice, in the ceremonial hall is where you can hug and give him a great big kiss and take pictures but outside the hall he cannot hold hands hug or kiss. they have very stirct rules and he can get into trouble. My sailor had to remind me at times because thats all you want to do is hug them and show how proud you are. so just a little info. I'm so excited for you, tell your sailor I'm very proud of him and Congrats! he is on his way to his journey!

when I took my son shopping at the mall day after Graduation there are many stores also that give discounts like the sports store for tennis gave my son 30 per cent off and they continue for any sports apparel. the book store give 15 percent if they like to read. my sone bought a phone so we can talk and they also give 15 to 20 percent off. best buy also. just in case. I hooked my son up with Sarge ex military who owns his own shuttle taxi service. he was great to my son he can come on base and drop off on base and knows the rules. he will take care of our sailors.

Phoenixmom...thanks for asking!  I got a phone call a week ago Saturday and he was great!  He was all caught up and had passed all of his tests.  He passed the second fitness test which is the one he was most worried about, so I am sure he passed the one yesterday or today too.  He was at peace with everything and excited about his new path.  I can't wait to hug him in 9 days!  So thankful he stayed strong, recovered and stayed in the Navy!

Librarianmom how is your Sailor doing? is he better now? i know you were worried if he was going to catch up. So Happy to hear that all is well. The Lord was looking out for him and he is one heck of a fighter and very focused young man to have succeeded. Good Job for him! Way to go Sailor!

This is the reason why I am debating letting him off my Insurance, but I do have small copayments but no deductible since I work for the state of AZ we have pretty good Insurance. so I was figuring if he had two Insurances they both would work together what one does cover the other would. now I do have to ask My son to send me a letter stating he is covered on Health Ins. just to have for my records just in case I take him off.

according to Tricare they had told me he is covered and everything is covered not sure about family sorry I also asked if there was a book to look over the covered and not covered she told me to go to Tricare Prime and it would give me that informationtion.

Yes he never received any bill.

barefootie...the covered the ambulance ride?  My son was hospitalized earlier this month in Boot Camp and the Tricare notice I got in the mail yesterday said they only covered part of it.  I was waiting to see if he got an actual bill.  He is still on our insurance too, was waiting to take him off until after Boot Camp.
