Any faimlies with sailors on carriers? My son is just going to report to the Nimitz... just thought it would be nice to get to know other parents whose sailors are on them and how much contact do you get?

okay, I am not crazy. I thought I "knew" from the NY page. haha. although, I do know of one sailor who has already been transferred off the NY. did your son get a pc? I don't remember.
The NY was an unusual one for us to do, as we really just do deployed military and some injured ones.

navymom-58 - Shelton's Mom, sorry again! It has taken me forever to get back here! The munchkin, who is currently demanding my attention, which would explain why it always takes me forever to get back here, is 7 yrs. old. She's delightful but VERY time consuming!

Hey Pat saw an article that the Nimitz made it home. did you get to do a tiger cruise?

Hi navymom58 - Shelton's Mom! sorry it has taken me so long to respond! Life has been a bit chaotic the last couple of weeks! My son, Paul, is with the 143 Superhornet Squadron currently deployed on the Eisenhower. Avionics electronics. He called Saturday. It was sooo great to hear his voice!

What does your sailor do?

Oops! I have to go get my munchkin off the bus! I'll be back!
