Hey Ladies.....where is everyone?

HAHAHA...I had to say POLE CAT, and I knew someone would ask.....Janie, it's a COUNTRY SHUNK!!! LOL.....we call them pole cat's don't know why, i guess it's one of those "REDNECK" thangs!!!!

yes, yummy on the fresh veggies and if you are crazy so am I, cause I like raw veggie's too......I eat raw corn while we are putting it up along with other veggies (after it's been washed, of course) Do you know eating unwashed fruits/veggies will give you pin worms? YUCK!!!!!!!! That's what I've heard anyways, and everytime I see someone in the grocery store "tasting" the grapes, that's what I think about....Lady/Man...in a few days you are gonna have some issues...

~~About my neice, we are so blessed...her whole life has been a challenge, so, she is definitely a trooper!! That's the only thing she knows is to work HARD at what you want...and get this, she works with challenged kids....that's what she will be going to school for is to teach...YAH!!! Sarah.....and like I said, She's ALWAYS smiling...even when she's hurting...

~~Bad news this am...a friend of ours (use to be cousins by marriage) was killed in a car wreck yesterday on the way home from work...breaks my heart for his parents...and his kids...

Gotta run, hooe everyone has a wonderful day & GOD BLESS....

Angie~~your niece is something else!  Should show her to healthy but lazy kids that don't care about school.

Janie~~Looking very much forward to hanging with you. Need to set a date.

As far as my son buying a car...I think this is his 4th car he has bought.  All four of my kids have always purchased their cars on their own since they were 16.  I personal feeling is that most 16 year olds crack up the first car (which each one of them did) so they need to feel the pain in THEIR wallet to learn a valuable lesson.  They are now all very good drivers.

I talked to my son last night and he is putting in for a week of leave.  He wants to show off his new car (2002 BMW) to his friends so he will be staying with his father.  I live south of Philadelphia with my boyfriend and my kids live north of Philadelphia.  So unfortunately I will not get to watch him sleep or get to clean up his messy room.  I will get to spend time with him while he is up from Virginia Beach but I will probably wind up driving up north to do it.  The trip is only about 40 minutes without traffic.  I travel it at least once a week to do things back where my family and friends are.

WOW! Angie you are a busy bee. Have safe trips! You better believe you are blessed with that niece, she is amazing and is such an inspiration for those that are healthy and doubting that they can achieve what she has. Bless her heart, I admire her.

Ok Angie I have to ask, what is a pole cat? Never heard that before.

Fresh veggies = yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm I am one of those people that love veggies raw and everybody thinks I'm nuts. Well I am but not because I eat raw veggies. lol

Well Ladies, anybody else going to update us with your status. Can't wait to hear from ya'll.

Kim that is great that he is coming home to see you! Jess said the same thing about A School grad, I imagine her C School won't be much different. She did get a few pictures of it though which I am thankful for.

WOW he bought a car without help or anyone knowing, what a grownup. I personally don't care for BMW's either and after Wayne owning a mercedes we feel never again with those high priced automobiles! The cost of regular maintainance is too costly let alone if something major goes wrong, ugh. His mercedes was starting to dollar and dollars us! I can't say nickel and dime because it wasn't that cheap that is why he went out and bought the new car.

I'll stick with my Hyundai Veracruz & my little red corvette. haha Can't wait for you to cruise with me this summer in it!

It must be so nice to be so close to your son, you are lucky in that respect.

Jess is so tired of being @ Lakes, she has become their professional building painter and has been painting rooms all over base. And to think that here her father & I are painting the entire outside of our home alone, hey NAVY send her our way to help, eh? lol

Jan how are you making out with your drama princesses? Show them who the Queen is my dear! lol

Well I must close for now. I must go to the demonic realm that holds my paycheck hostage! WORK! ugh....;)

Well it doesn't look like I will be going to Virginia Beach after all.  My son emailed me and said that the A school graduation is not a formal thing. "They are just going to hand me a paper" he says.  He put in for a week of leave.  I thought I would go down and pick him up June 3rd (I took off from work for this graduation) but he tells me that he bought a car and he will be driving himself home.  He didn't say what kind of car but it's probably a BMW.  He has owned two other BMW's and he is really stuck on them.  I personally don't see the appeal but he has always bought them himself and never asked anything from me.  Just cannot wait to see him.

Sorry girls I havent been around much.  It is exciting that everyone is doing well.  It is still raining in  new england...blah,blah,blah....I have been thinking of going tanning just to get some vitamin d....Chris called Friday night soooo mad.  He said on Wed. the chief petty officer told 5 of the crew that their rooms were going to be inspected by the Master Chief on Friday. He told them to make sure they are super clean.  Well one of the guys didnt clean his room at all so they failed. The punishment, their crew had to wake up at 4 on saturday to do pt witht he Marines for hours..... the boys were so mad at that one and asked him why he didnt clean his room. HIs reply "i didnt think they were serious"   are you kidding......anyway  I have been really busy at work. I have been on call so I havent been sleeping much....but the overtime is welcomed.

Angie, I have vacation in October I am planning on renting a house for one or two weeks during that time. I am praying we can meet up.....I would like to rent a vacation home near the beach. I would welcome any ideas on were to start looking.......well off to do laundy<3
