OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

And Diana, I'm jealous. I want a grandbaby so badly. My boys tell me that can be accomplished if that's all I want, so I have to explain I want it all done in the proper order. Right now, there's not even a serious girlfriend in the picture for either of them.

Gas in OKC is 3.55, which is horrible as far as I'm concerned. I can't imagine $4+!

It is our daughter's third and last child, two girls and now a boy, and the oldest will turn three June 4th. She has her hands full. I would like more, but I am content to wait. My sailor needs to focus on school and is definitely not ready to be a daddy. :-)

Dana, congrats on your new NUKE. I know you must be so happy!

Decided I was spending more time here than doing my work. lol (imagine that?) The time is approaching for Power School graduation for our son Chase. Next Friday, 4/22 and so happy to get this behind him. (Guess I should say tentative...still has to pass last exam and Comps next Tuesday) Wondering if anyone else has MM Class 1101 graduating next week and if you have any details.

And I would like to do a little bragging also, my son just called and he just passed his Prototype Oral Board. He is an official 'Nuke'. Graduation is April 29th and I have my plane ticket.
