;) Binker's mom...we must be related... I have the same uncle.  I hope we don't have to split the inheritance since I already have it spent.

My sailor just graduated MM A school yesterday. I was not able to attend. Is there anyway to get photos of the event? Wish I could have been there to support all of the sailors and celebrate their achievement.

Julie, my son had IA for Math.  He also is very determined.  I laughed to myself yesterday when I talked to him (the first time in two weeks, by the way), and he said that he was going to start take studying more seriously.  This kids have never had to study in all the their lives.  Things have just come so easy for our smart kids.  He is currently in the lower half of his class, but still passing all his test.  I am broadening my prayer list to include many of your kids.

Diana MM,

Congratulations on your daughters upcoming birth (and your grandchild). My husband is also retired and I didn't have any other big events going at similar time. My husband would have taken the trip alone I think but driving the car out was my idea. I'm looking forward to my son graduating prototype and I will fly out, help him pack and ride with him to his next base (hopefuly the west coast). He joins the Navy and I get to finally see parts of this country.

Dana,  my problem is my daughter is expecting the end of April and I have to save my vacation to take two weeks off to help her.  My husband is retired but doesn't like to take trips alone, we do most everything together.  BUT, I may have to seriously consider taking another week off.  SO WANT TO BE THERE!

Diana MM,

My husband and I drove our sons car to him for A School graduation last Feb. We live in northern California. Almost a 3000 mile trip. Left Sunday morning and arrived early evening on Wednesday. Stayed at Villas and got to cook several dinners for son and a host of his classmates. Flew home on Valentines day. Was a wonderful vacation. The trip cost less than trying to send his car to him (would have been around $1,000.00).

nvmomma,

I loved you comment about the West Coast Nuke Moms club.  I feel that way too, but unfortunately I usually get on post and then get off.  I get up too early to stay up much past 8pm.  Two nights this week I was asleep by 7:30pm, which means I had to head to bed before 7pm.

I twisted my son's arm to find out when his grads from A School, March 18th.  With seeing all these wonderful pictures, I so badly want to go, but I am with Kat.  Arizona is a LONG way from SC.  Maybe I can talk my husband into driving our sailor's car out at that time and then we can split the cost with David and only pay for one one-way ticket back.
