~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

TXDad, so sorry! I was schocked when I read your previous post, have you been able to find any additional information out? Contact his recruiter?
O No, TxNavyDad! What an emotionally stressful thing, you all go through so much to get to this point then they just suddenly send him home? I'm so sorry!
My fiance is going to Pens,FL for A school when will we find out if they leave Saturday or Monday?? Thanks!
@Tereza... I don't know the number of SR's from Ship 13 Div 068, so I cant answer your question. We received our letter last night as well. Very strange.... we receive the letter one day and then the call the next day for separation. As soon as I hear anything from our son, I will update with any pertinent info.
@Lola... Yes were are hoping he will be home in time for Christmas. That would be awesome. The info I find so far, it appears to be (appears) that the Navy over enlisted at the end of the year and the budget would not support the over enlistment. Nothing is for sure yet as my son has not met with legal yet to find out exactly what has happened and exactly what his options are. As soon as I hear from him again and what legal has said, I will update this snafu with the info in case others are dealing the same problem. Thanks very much Lola for your support and compassion. It is well received and we are very thankful to all who are supporting us and our SR.
Hey its me again...lol...Does anyone on here have a SR in Ship 12 Div062??? I think so far only 1 other one than me does.....Anyone on here have a SR who is going to be a AO? I joined the AO Moms group just wanted to see if anyone on here is a AO Mom. It can be overwhelming right now..There is so much i wanna buy or purchase. Uggh i need to win the lottery...lololol
Hey Everyone on here...Hope all is good with everyone.... Sorry to hear that @TxNavyDad...Keep us informed...I was wondering do you have to get those Division Tshirts or is that just whatever you want to do? There is so much i want to buy or get but all my money is going to the plane tickets and hotel/rental car. Suggestion::: Ok my daughter is leaving for Pensacola i guess on sat so this is what i though i would do...we get there on thursday, spend a night in hotel,PIR friday morning and then i guess spend some time with my daughter till she has to return to base and get ready to leave out the next morning, ok spend the nite in the hotel friday nite...get up early and leave for the airport that my daughter tells me she is leaving from cause i can't give her anything she wants like cell phone/laptop till she gets to the airport...so we leave to go to the airport early sat morning and spend as much time with her as i can and then i was bookin my flight back home late saturday nite from O'hare cause the latest flight out of Midway is 2:40pm and i wouldn't get to spend much time with her and i can't afford to spend another nite up there either.(money is tight). So me and my son leave the airport she is at hopefully it will be O'Hare but my luck it will be Midway and drop off my rental car and leave from Chicago to home the latest flight out from O'Hare is 7:40pm sat night...That gives us as much time as i can to spend with her untill either one of us has to leave. Does that sound ok to everyone???? Wish i could stay till sunday but money isn't letting that happen. Any other suggestions??? I need to get my flight booked by Dec 18th or they will go up(within a month) of the date. It's hard when you don't know what time or what airport she will be leaving out of. Thanks everyone i love this group.
@Lala... Yes it's very strange indeed. Thanks for everyone's support. I will update as I get more info. Thanks everyone.
