Hooray for all the letters!! Nice to get the confirmation on your PIR date and the correct address to write your precious SR~~ Has anyone's SR listed "The Cat??"
Hi all! I was excited to receive the letter. My son is Ship 13, Div 82. So proud of him and all the other recruits. His A school is in South Carolina.
LOL @ "The Dog"
Thanks FTLW. I was t thinking this had to be the case.
Hmmm...Maybe I should have him add Rory ( the dog) since he may be coming along in Jan. Heehee :p
Renee - That is actually pretty standard :-) we have even seen , "...The Dog...".
The Guest List on the Form Letter is for your Recruit to let you know who they intend to invite to PIR.
About 7-10 days before PIR your SR's will fill out another Access List with the final legal name (that matches the Guests ID) to turn into Security. This is what they will make the master list for PIR from. Once that list is turned in it cannot be changed.
OK. Everyone who has gotten their letter...
When your SR put the names for their guests, what did they put? Our SR has "Mom" and "Dad" as opposed to our names. Is this standard on the form we get with names being given on whatever RTC has on file for PIR? I asked my SR in the letter I wrote today, but who knows how long before he gets it and I get a response from him on the subject.
Mary, my son is also ship 13, div 81. Can't wait til next month!
Hi Everyone! Got my form letter today!! My son is Ship 03 DIV 083. He will be going to A school in Mississippi. PIR date 1/30/2015. Overwhelmed with pride right now! Now I can mail the letters that I've had ready for the last week! :)
Double-click it to open into Full screen if you can't view all of it.
Enjoy!
Just got my letter today from my son....Such an amazing proud moment to receive a letter from my SR. He is in Ship 13 Div 082 and he graduates on 1/30. Anyone else have a loved one in my son's group. Yeah....I am so happy to be over this last hill. The first 11 days have been extremely difficult. It is just not talking to him or knowing how he is doing. It is my new life without him in daily. Unlike before when he has been gone and comes home but now it is he doesn't come home but to visit. I don't know if we moms are ever ready for their departure. I am overwhelmed by the pride I have for him. I just love this young man. 45 days to go. I think I can do this......
