Wow, that weather is warm up there right now, warmer than s GA.

A, glad your brother is doing better, and this site IS amazing, very comforting.

Our moms share info that many of us don't get and we relish the news that other SR's send along to their families. I thank all of you.

proudmom, Lala is right. It has already blown over.

A', I am glad you brother is a terd :-) He sounds like a real fighter and I hope he proves to those doctors that miracles do happen. he and your whole family are definitely in my prayers.

proud mom 93, I am so sorry that got back to your recruit. I know you didn't mean any harm and I hope everything is blown over by now. The good thing is by the time you receive a letter from your recruit a few days have already passed and chances are things are already much better than they were when the letter was written. I will keep him and you in my prayers as well. This too shall pass :-)

Well, just keep in mind that the RDC's do read these pages...so info can be taken back.  That is why we advise you all not to be too specific in your info.  General info is better...specific info can be private messaged.

Hi all! I am still not able to invite friends for some reason from my blackberry which is all I have at home. Anyone from 09/092 for 3/16 please feel free to friend me so I can accept!
Proudmom- we all know we are all stressed and things often get misunderstood. We have all become friends these past 8 weeks- don't beat yourself up! Two weeks from now we will all be to happy to remember !
To 'A prayers for your brother and all your family.
Counting down! Soon we all will have sailors!

A - PRAYER WORKS!!! Yeah! I have kept your family in prayer all night and all day and was SO delighted to see the post. Keep strong.

Proud mom - bless you. It's so difficult when our words get misinterpreted or taken out of context, and then think: it's like playing "telephone!" Our SR sees something and writes it one way, we read, we post, someone else reads and conveys with just a bit more change at each step, and poof! A chain reaction. All the moms & loved ones . . . take note! We're all doing our best here. Presume all intentions are good and adopt "Vegas rules" : )

"A":  Your poor brother has been through it.  So glad that he sounds like he is on the "upswing" now and doing better.  Prayers that he continues to improve in a speedy manner!

Comment by diannep on March 6, 2012 at 8:54pm

Oh boy, proud mom.  So sorry...for your son and you for the mixup on words and consequences.  Words can get misinterpreted, that's for sure.  Hope all is well now.  Just for the record...every group will have some that may be struggling more than others...but that's ok...they all get it together and "get there."  The RDCs know what they are doing and make sure of that!
