lol, well the sale was canceled but I put my phone number in the paper with the ad and have been meeting people all day who needed something that was listed. We made $300 bucks at a canceled yard sale not to shabby lol.

YiPpY YaY WhOrAh for phone calls :-)

PumpkinLeah:  Congrats on the long call!

20 days!!! I remember seeing that counter with 54 days on it and bursting into tears. And now at 20 all I can do is smile... and wonder how crazy it would make me if I started packing...

A:  We would WELCOME you and any others to join our "pass it on" N4Moms veteran team here after PIR.  We can use the help!  There are always about 7-8 active PIR groups at a time...so you can see why many hands make the work lighter!

Enjoy the day, Lala!  I bet next week, there will be beautiful weather for it!

AMEN, JordansMom!  Dog....GOD spelled backwards....so true when you have had dogs and see their "God lessons" that are meant for us!  My dogs mean the world to me...both rescues...the Lab got out an open gate (painter left it open) last summer...I discovered it instantly, but burst into tears...we live in the suburbs, lots of traffic...Got in my car like a crazy woman, even had a neighbor on his bike start looking...retraced our daily walk route (dogs and I walk 3 miles a day)...nothing...tears and crying out to the Lord to please bring him back to me...he is my heart...got home, message on phone, neighbor on street behind me who called when he showed up at her house--- saw our phone number on the collar...didn't recognize the dog (collar is embroidered with dog's name, my phone number....I highly recommend these collars for identity...you can order online with PetSmart)--her husband walked him over to me and our reunion was one of pure joy (but an angry glance at him first for leaving!)

I agree with with the story of how this little dog still has a chance to find the way home!  Happened with one of our dogs when I was growing up...returned a week later. Prayers that you are reunited soon, FTLW!

FTLW - Never "just a dog" unless you've never had a dog! They really are a family member. I've been out of the country for the past week and when we returned to port, the first call was to our daugher to see how "Bailey" was doing!

Here's a quick story: I own/operate a clothing store and a dear customer lost her dog too. She actually made large collage posters to post around town, but to no avail. She told everyone that would listen, what the dog looked like and how much it ment to her just in case they saw it. Still no dog. Months went by and she was so sad when we asked about her dog, so we really stopped asking. THEN, she came in and told us that a friend had gone by someone's home and thought they saw the dog in a fenced yard! She went and YES it was indeed her dog!

So, don't worry FTLW! Your little friend may just be somewhere being loved and cared for until you are reunited!

FTLW, I agree....no such thing as just a dog! I will say lots of prayers! If something happened to our dog I would be upset too! My dog Maggie has to be my absolute favorite child in this household! If something happened to her I would be heart broken! You have had one hell of a day! Prayers and more prayers headed your way!

That's funny Lala. I have a packing party for the Massachusettes Navy Moms and we thought there would be snow .... It's very windy and chilly but the sun is shining here in Boston .so I am feeling positive that we will be packing up lots of love in our pancake breakfast theme :)
Have a great weekend everyone not long now only 3 more Thursdays !!

***HUGS, FTLW***

No such thing as "just" a dog. In our household, dogs are family, I have my Baby Bear glued to my side right now. Doing doggy prayers for you and pup, and allergy recovery prayers for YOU! Call your local rescue to get the word out, call the local paper . . . usually "lost" pet posts are free. Finally, try Craigs List--there's a lost pet posting area.
