ZachsDad. I totally understand. We jump from group to group and miss posts on here. Even if we did all agree there aren't enough colors to go around this time for each division to have its own color -- BIG PIR ON 3/16!! So exciting...
Mary..I don't think 90 has posted a color yet. I'm losing track LOL
Our division (089) tried to discuss colors, but the family members are all over the net, so it's difficult to nail down one color. We decided, those of us in an invite only FB page for PIR 3/16, to buy ribbons from lala and just go with that. My family will probably be wearing read since my SR's rate will be AO.
I'm still confused about the division colors. How do we decide the colors and how do we know what colors aren't taken yet?
We're division 091, and I ordered Blue ribbons with gold letters if anyone wants to do the same in our division. Also, we are blue scarves with white stars, and I am adding a red anchor and division number for mine.
Good morning everyone. My son is in Div 87 and we have been discussing ribbons. I wanted to suggest NAVY COLORED RIBBONS FOR DIV 87 AND 88 since I believe they are training together. I hope to order mine this weekend. Please let me know your thoughts. Have a great weekend everyone and HOORAY FOR LETTERS AND PHONE CALLS!!
It is an AMAZING moment for sure. Ranks right up there with their birth :-)
Good morning all. It is so good seeing you all planning your colored scarves, tshirts, etc...since PIR will be here before you know it! There is nothing like that feeling when that "big door" starts to roll up, revealing your sailors...heartstopping moment. No matter how proud you have been of your new sailor in the past, you will feel even more pride as you see him/her as part of our wonderful Navy!
It is completely fine proud mom, no problem at all. I think I sent you a message on here last night. I will send something this morning.
