My SR did graduate. Graduation was amazing. We couldn't get to her fast enough after liberty was called. We got about 5 minutes with her since she had to move her things to another ship. While in bc she had an ear and sinus infection. Took all meds. Feels fine. She is on medical hold for a dr appt with ENT tomorrow. Asking for prayers that all goes well. She was bummed not to be able to go with her shipmates to a school in pensacola. They are all over FB wanting her to join them already. On upside since on hold we were able to spend friday saturday and sunday with her. Loved every minute. Hardest thing to leave her with so much uncertainty. Grateful for time spent with her. Also wanted to thank fireteam lalaribbons and diannep for their knowledge and support. Couldn't do it without them as well as support from all the moms in our division. So proud of all of our sailors. Our kids are a family now. As my sailor would say HOORAH DIVISION 134!!

Awww...Chibis mom. Really touched my heart about your reunion with your daughter. So so happy for you. I know you endured some hardships not knowing. All worked out very well.

thanks to all, I was able to find out bout password, without that I would have never made it to pir. It was easy to spot my daughter, that chin of hers. after liberty was called. I grabbed my purse flew off the bleachers. calling her name she ran to me, jumped into my arms. I can still feel her tears on my cheek.

Just got back yesterday from PIR.  Thanks to all the information I found on this site it was a great time.  The day flew by with our son but we did go to the airport to wait with him and spend some more time with him. Thanks again for being there for us newbies.

Just got back from PIR weekend. Spent time in Chicago for a couple days after PIR. It's good to be home. Wish we would have had more than eight hours with our Sailor, but we will take what we can get. We also got a couple of good hours at the airport and fed him! I will post some pictures from PIR later. Thank you to everyone that helped make this journey more tolerable!
