Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

But we are in the military, in the ranks rarely seen.
We have no rank upon our shoulders. Salutes we do not give.
Although at home waiting patiently because in the military world is where we live. We are not in the chain of command, orders I do not give or get. But our husbands/wives/daughter's/son's/boyfriends's are the ones who does, this we can not forget.
We are not the one who fires a weapon, Who puts his/her life on the line. But our job is just as tough, we are the one's left behind.
Our husband/wives/daughters/son's/boyfriend's is a patriot, a brave and pride filled woman/man and the call to serve his/her country not all can understand. Behind the lines, We see things needed to keep this country free. Our husband/wives/daughters/son's makes the sacrifice, but so do we.

My SR father is currently battling Brain, Liver, and stomach cancer. Before she left that stated he had only 9 mths to live but he has been taking radiation and going throw surgery to expand his life. After i read her positive letter to him he cried and said im holding on til she graduate and i want to go. She told him not to come because he is always in pain but after the letter he insisting on going against anyone's better judgement even the doctor and all i can do is pray for him and help comfort him on the way because he is not taking no as an option. I know its something he want to see before he go but its breaking my heart because she is a TRUE and die heart daddys girl.
