Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by hendersonc Ship11 DIV 134 4/27/1 on March 22, 2012 at 3:16pm: My Sr stated that she had leadership job(Laundry Petty officer & Religious Petty Officer). I was laughing because she never did laundry. She didnt pass her swimming test but she never really learned until it was close to her leavinig which was a big mistake(smh). She seem to still be her well mannered self tho.

After getting back, my hubby and I were full force into looking for a house again. We just put a contract on a house this week, so that process has been crazy. Still waiting to hear if we got it. Fingers crossed. I'm back for good now. :)

Folks, if you have not seen this...go find it! I saw it YEARS ago and had the VHS...loaned it out adn now found the DVD at Wal-Mart for $7. It is hilarious!

I have been MIA for a few weeks, due to a cross country road trip with my sailor. My son just got his first Orders to Bremerton, WA on the aircraft carrier CVN 74 John C. Stennis. The two of us had a blast as we drove his car Maryland to Washington state. Can't wait to get back into things on here. :)
